Today NCL is applauding an announcement by I.M.P. and Ticketfly that service fees for ticketbuyers at the Merriweather Post Pavillion amphitheatre in Columbia, Maryland will be reduced by 30 percent.

Nearly 25,000 consumers, in what advocates are calling an "unprecendented groundswell of consumer outrage," have directly contacted the Department of Justice, urging its Antitrust Division to listen to their collective voice and block the Ticketmaster-Live Nation merger.

As Ticketmaster and Live Nation stockholders voted to approve moving forward with the proposed merger, members of the TicketDisaster.org coalition released a statement urging the Department of Justice to look toward the interests of consumers and competition by refusing concessions and blocking the merger.
