Consumer group strongly opposes the proposed REINS Act

The "Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act (REINS Act)" (H.R. 367), institutes unneeded procedures that would undercut federal agencies ability to protect consumers. Under this proposed bill, both houses of Congress would need to approve any rule passed that has an economic impact of $100 million or more before implementation.
